Supporting the NHS with a healthy twist

Kings College Fruit Delivery

One of the ways Bouygues Energies & Services are doing their bit to show their appreciation for NHS workers is by donating fruit baskets. Their UK sites and other Fruitful Office customers have donated all their regular fruit baskets to NHS hospitals. A minimum of 50 baskets full of fruit are being delivered daily to hospitals to help fuel NHS staff.

Whilst the Bouygues Energies & Services team are working from home, they’re doing their bit by supporting our Brave, Caring and Compassionate NHS staff, providing them with a healthy treat. Last week over 23,000 fruit portions, a total of 600 fruit baskets were delivered to NHS hospitals, giving the front-line team an opportunity to eat healthily during their long hours at work.

Guy Taylor, Head of Operational HR at Bouygues Energies & Services Contracting said: “Bouygues Energies & Services introduced the fruit basket programme as part of our Health and Well being Strategy to help ensure the general well being of our employees, and now whilst some of our sites and offices are closed it is great to be able to re-direct this and help our NHS staff stay fit and healthy. This is a small gesture of appreciation for their incredible work and sacrifice.”

The fruit baskets programme is an incredible scheme that not only ensures the well-being of your staff but also helps the environment; for every basket delivered Fruitful Office plant 1 fruit tree.
