Bouygues Energies & Services recognises that our activities and services provided have the potential to impact on the environment. Therefore we are fully committed to minimising these any such through a formal approach.
Bouygues Energies & Services is triple certificated to ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 and the environmental management standard ISO 14001 is fully integrated into our everyday activities.
By way of certification, development of a set of robust policies and ‘live’ environmental improvement plans at all levels within the business we are able to deliver the aspirations of the business and our clients.
We have ‘live’ key targeted areas that we as a business focus on and commit to within the improvement planning process. By saving energy and reducing waste the business continues to maintain a positive impact on climate change.
As the business has matured in this area we have also managed to streamline processes to increase efficiency and business output, saving money as well.
Our dynamic approach has resulted in the business also becoming certificated to the Energy Management Standard ISO50001 (our FM business becoming the first in the UK to achieve this standard).
We are currently focusing on a 3 year environmental strategic plan that will target reducing our carbon impact, minimising waste and diverting waste from landfill and reducing energy as are our primary environmental issues.
The business has developed a set of key performance indicators to measure our success and these are reviewed and reported upon monthly at senior management and Board levels and form an integral part of our overall Business Improvement Plans (BIP’s).
