Environmental Policy
Bouygues Energies & Services recognise that our activities and services have the potential to impact the environment. Therefore we are fully committed to minimising the environmental impact of our operations in every way we can.
We are triple certificated to ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 and the environmental management standard ISO 14001 is fully integrated into our everyday activities.
By way of certification, development of a set of robust policies and ‘live’ environmental improvement plans at all levels within the business means we are able to deliver the aspirations of the business and our clients.
As the business has matured in this area we have also managed to streamline processes to increase efficiency and business output.
Our dynamic approach has resulted in the business also becoming certificated to the Energy Management Standard ISO50001. Our Facilities Management business was the first in the UK to achieve this standard.
We are currently focusing on an environmental plan that will target reducing our carbon impact, minimising waste, diverting waste from landfill and reducing energy.
The business has developed a set of key performance indicators to measure our success and these are reviewed and reported upon monthly at senior management and Board levels. These performance indicators form an integral part of our overall Business Improvement Plans.
The Bouygues Construction Group are fully committed to a Sustainable Development approach throughout all its entities. There are other internal initiatives that support and deliver change and performance improvements:
