We are delighted to have officially started our 50-year FM contract with the University of Brighton.

Moulsecoomb Campus, which provides over 800 student bedrooms, was financed, designed and developed by Uliving, a subsidiary of Linkcity UK specialising in student accommodation. With the impressive build now completed by Bouygues UK, we will maintain, operate and provide the lifecycle of this facility for 50 years. The photo below shows Robel Sertzu, Project Manager at Bouygues UK handing the keys over to Glynn Newby, Operations Director at Bouygues Energies & Services.

Glynn Newby said,

“We are delighted to have been awarded this contract at the University of Brighton’s brand-new student accommodation. Knowing that this project is the fruit of collaboration between Bouygues Energies & Services, Bouygues UK and Linkcity makes us even more proud to be looking after this site for the next 50 years.”

Reaching the end of the construction project is a huge achievement for Bouygues UK and Linkcity, who, despite the challenges thrown at them over the last 18 months, delivered the project on time and to highest environmental standards in the face of a global pandemic. Bouygues E&S will be responsible for both hard FM and soft FM at the student accommodation, as well as providing SPV management services to Uliving at the Moulsecoomb Campus, and lifecycle management.

The entire campus development has been built with an emphasis on sustainability as part of a vast transformation project for the University. We look forward to upholding these high standards using our energy-efficiency expertise in the running of this building.

As ever with our education contracts, the student experience will be our central focus.
