Having worked with VIRTUS for a number of years Bouygues Energies & Services were approached to design and build a new data centre at VIRTUS’ impressive Stockley Park Campus.
The LONDON5 eco-efficient facility has been designed to meet the growing demand for scalable, reliable and on demand colocation services.

Bouygues Energies & Services led the development of the design and build, as well as electrical, mechanical, IST and security solutions for the LONDON5 facility. For this project the team was awarded DCD Data Centre Construction Team of the Year Award 2019.
By enforcing "Intelligent by design" principles we introduce eco-efficient and optimised design for fully flexible and tailored customer solutions. This incorporate solutions for ultra power density 40kW+ per rack footprint. With over 10,000m² of Tier 3 technical space, the data centre is capable of 24MW of IT load and has a variety of power resilience options at N, N+1 and N+N.

Providing detailed design, architectural, procurement, construction, Integrated System Testing (IST), and mechanical & electrical services installation to offer seamless engineering solutions to the challenges facing our client.
LONDON5 is designed to achieve BREEAM “Excellent” standards and make use of efficient technology such as waste heat reuse.
By implementing our ‘Intelligent by design’ principles, we achieved a power usage effectiveness (PUE)
rating of < 1.3 by supplying high efficiency chilled water using free cooling and air containment at the rack.
