Bouygues E&S Celebrate Our RESPECT Award Winners
Last week, Bouygues Energies & Services (Bouygues E&S) announced the winners of our annual RESPECT Award Prize Draw! These Awards celebrate employees who embody Bouygues E&S' corporate values. With 7 categories, they serve as the perfect opportunity to promote and recognise stellar examples of these core values, including transparency, empowering others, outstanding performance, and protecting lives and the environment.
Anonymous nominations for any of the 7 categories are collected on a monthly basis for members of staff who have gone above and beyond in their day-to-day role. For some, this has been the creation of a new app to monitor safety protocols on site; for others, taking time out of their working day to serve members of the communities in which we work.
Our panel of judges then selects a shortlist of winners from the nominations who are celebrated monthly with an award ceremony and internal promotion of their success. To ensure that everybody’s contribution is recognised, all valid nominations are entered into our annual prize draw later in the year, including those who weren’t originally selected for a monthly win. This year, our annual prize draw features a luxury experience of the winner’s choice, multiple high street gift vouchers, and a selection of delightful gift hampers.
We’d like to congratulate all our winners and are thrilled to announce the winner of the top prize this year is Mark Weedon, Self Delivery Supervisor for Estates, who was recognised for his work furthering the development of electrical apprentices under the category ‘Educate and Empower’.
"I'm delighted to have won the top prize for my work 'Educating and Empowering' new starters, specifically apprentices. It's great to be able to make them feel welcome, pass on my knowledge, and lend a helping hand where needed. Of course, I'm also looking forward to my prize - now I've just got to decide which experience I'm going to choose!"
The learning and development of all employees remains high on Bouygues E&S’ agenda, and we thank and congratulate Mark for putting those values into action in his daily role. Paul Cadman, Bouygues E&S HR Director, added:

This event is just one of the many ways in which we celebrate our people and their talents. Through recognising the contributions of our colleagues, we continue to foster a working culture that places continuous improvement, respect for others, and performance at its core.
