Bouygues E&S Supports Wear It Pink
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and with it comes Breast Cancer Now’s flagship fundraising event, Wear It Pink. Designed to raise awareness of breast cancer and fundraise for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and cure, Wear It Pink invites everybody to don something pink in the name of this important cause. Bouygues Energies & Services (Bouygues E&S) is proud to support the campaign to help make life-changing research for people affected by breast cancer and the efforts of our employee-led women’s network, WeLink, as they put their own spin on Wear It Pink.
To spread the fundraising appeal far and wide, employees have been nominating colleagues across the business on Yammer to share a photo of themselves ‘wearing it pink’ and make a donation . This light-hearted twist to keeping fundraising fun, as well as accessible to all, goes hand-in-hand with WeLink’s successful Karaoke Night, where employees donated to Breast Cancer Awareness in exchange for a ticket to the singing event of the season at our HQ.
Benedicte Reguer, Executive Assistant at Bouygues E&S and leading committee member at WeLink, has been influential in sharing the Wear It Pink campaign internally. She celebrated with us:
“We’re thrilled that after the success of last year’s fundraising efforts, our nominations-based Wear It Pink campaign has become a tradition within Bouygues E&S. By getting everybody involved, we can raise awareness far and wide of the symptoms to look out for to catch the disease early. We’re proud of all of our efforts to fundraise for such an important cause.”
We’re pleased to report that the efforts across the business have currently raised over £400! Bouygues E&S are proud to be able to make such a contribution to enable life-saving breast cancer research and life-changing care to happen.
